Police Arrest Three People for Armed Robbery in Blacksburg

Blacksburg, VA - Blacksburg police arrested three people they say robbed a person at gunpoint inside a home early Saturday morning.

Police responded to a home at the 600 block of Washington St. SE at about 2:45 a.m. They say the victim told police that two men and a woman had robbed them at gunpoint. The victim was not injured.

The victim gave police a description of the suspects' car. Police later found the car and arrested the three suspects. They also found a loaded firearm and cash that was taken during the robbery.

Aleaza Renee Franklin, 34, Tyrell Paige, 18, and Marcquette Kinard, 29, all from Roanoke, were charged with armed robbery. Kinard was also charged with using a firearm during commission of a Felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

All three are being held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail.
