Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors to Form Youth Commission
Pittsylvania Co., VA-- The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors is giving youth in the county a voice in local government.The board recently approved the idea of a youth commission. It will be made up of 14 high school students.According to Supervisor, Brenda Bowman, the group will be able to present their ideas, needs and suggestions to the board, and also identify needs, problems and issues affecting the county's youth.The board is accepting applications for the positions.
