Pittsylvania Co. Supervisors Plan Public Hearing on School Safety

Pittsylvania Co., VA - The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors is ready to hear from folks in the community on the Sheriff's proposed school safety initiative.

Sheriff Mike Taylor held a series of informational meetings throughout the county that concluded on March 4.

Now, the Board will hold a public hearing April 8th at 7 p.m. in Chatham to accept feedback.

The Board will then vote on the Sheriff's $1.5 million plan and decide whether to move forward with all seven parts of the initiative.
