Pittsylvania Co. Man Pleads Guilty in Illegal Gambling Trial

Pittsylvania Co., VA - An illegal gambling trial in Pittsylvania County Circuit Court ended Thursday with a plea agreement.

Maurice Raynor will get no jail time after pleading guilty on two counts of allowing illegal gambling on property.

He was indicted back in December. His indictment was lessened to a misdemeanor charge, in exchange for a guilty plea.

The judge ordered Raynor to pay a $2,500 fine for each count, as well as court costs.
