Pittsylvania Co. Chamber Solicits Members for Uranium Mining Opinions

Pittsylvania Co., VA - The Danville-Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce is asking its members to help choose their position on uranium mining.

The Chamber's Board of Directors is asking members to send in written statements. They will also have four listening sessions where members can offer input.
Chamber President Laurie Moran says they want to take a stand because of the potential impact uranium mining can have on that area.
This announcement comes just after the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce announced their opposition to the mining.
