Phase Two of Prayer in Meetings Case Underway in Roanoke
Roanoke, VA - Thursday in Roanoke, phase two of the ACLU case against the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors got underway as the two groups came together for mediation.
A federal court judge recommended mediation back in September after both sides agreed to it.
The ACLU is suing the Board on behalf of Pittsylvania County resident Barbara Hudson over the use of Christian prayer in meetings.
There is no word on whether a settlement was reached Thursday or if the mediation will continue.
