Lynchburg, VA-As our area's first real snow of the season approaches, anticipation is in the air. We stopped by the Kroger on Boonsboro Road Wednesday night to talk to shoppers stocking up. People weren't too worried about bad conditions. They were just happy to get a chance to see the white stuff.
Some people have a routine before snow storms come. They go to the store and buy the same thing every time. For one woman it was a little food and some wine. For one man it was just milk. Another shopper focused on non-perishable items.
Some shoppers weren't too worried about the snow. Most were excited to finally get some winter weather. Others said the possibility of getting six inches would keep them cooped up in their homes.
One group of teenagers said their favorite thing about the snow is getting out of school. They told us to sleep with our pajamas on backwards because it brings good luck for snow.
