Martinsville, VA-- The new semester at Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, marked a great new beginning for their Motorsports program.
The school recently announced that they are expanding the program by purchasing almost 14 acres of land and two buildings, from Arrington Manufacturing.
That will allow students to get better hands on experience in building race cars. Other workforce development programs will also be housed in there
The cost of the land and buildings is almost $5.5 million and a huge chunk of that will be paid for by the state.
