Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg bus riders will have to wait a couple more weeks to check out GLTC's new transfer center.
The transit company's general manager says construction on the site off Kemper Street will take about six more weeks. It was originally scheduled to open at the end of January.
Karen Walton says crews are behind because we had so much wintry weather. The ground hasn't been dry enough for workers to pour concrete.
Walton tells us they're now hoping to open the center by mid-May, with a grand opening in June.
