Odds Favor 26 Years for George Huguely

Charlottesville, VA - The former University of Virginia lacrosse player convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend heads to court this week to learn his sentence.

In February, a jury found George Hugely guilty of second degree murder for the death of Yeardley Love. They recommended he serve 26 years in prison, and experts say it's likely the judge will follow the jury's recommendation.

Huguely will appear Thursday in court in Charlottesville.
