North Carolina Company Interested in Former AMCOR Building

Danville, VA-- A 20-year-old vacant building in Danville may soon get new life breathed into it.

According to the Danville Office of Economic Development, a company from North Carolina is interested in leasing the former AMCOR facility in Airside Industrial Park.

The building was left empty after AMCOR moved its operation last year.

The Industrial Development Authority is asking Danville City Council for a moral obligation to cover the $2.75 million loan to purchase the property.

We'll hear if and when the North Carolina Company will be moving in by mid July.
