Gov. Nominees Vow to Keep Uranium Mining Issue Alive
Richmond, VA - The two presumptive nominees for governor of Virginia both say they plan to keep the uranium mining issue alive... if Governor McDonnell doesn't act this year.
Republican Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli and Democrat Terry McAuliffe say there are two key factors in their ultimate decision, such as mining's economic impact and whether it can be done safely.
Cuccinelli also suggest that mining regulations be in place before the General Assembly takes up the issue again.
