No Injuries in Fire at Salem's Graham White Manufacturing Company

Salem, VA - Fire investigators credit the sprinkler system of a Salem business for keeping a fire from spreading to the rest of the building Friday night. According to Salem City Fire-EMS, the call for a fire at the Graham White Manufacturing Company came in at around 10:15 p.m. A machine caught fire in the building. Firefighters were able to put the fire out in 15 minutes. No one was in the building at the time of the fire. There were no injuries. Damage estimates are not yet available. The fire remains under investigation for the Salem Fire Marshal's Office.
