Lynchburg, VA - If skiing or snowboarding isn't your thing, at Liberty's Snowflex in Lynchburg, you can hop in a tube!
Work there is wrapping up on a new tubing facility, which includes a kiddie ramp, for the little ones, and sitting next to the ski slope two brand new tubing ramps, one 300 the other 350 feet long.
They can take tubers up to 30 miles an hour; double what the old tubing ramp could get to.
Snowflex employees say it's the perfect solution for families or folks unfamiliar with skiing or snowboarding, "The tubing allows almost everybody no matter their age, if they're disabled, or if they've just never skied a day in their life, they can come out here and be a part of a winter sport all year round" said Drew Sherwood, Snowlfex's General Manager.
It's officially open to the public on October 5th. That's when Snowflex will host a family fall festival officially kicking off the mountain's newest addition.
