Roanoke Co., VA - Roanoke College's new poll finds that most Virginians support same sex marriage.
The poll is split, however, on Attorney General Mark Herring's decision to side with the plaintiffs in the legal challenge to Virginia's same sex marriage ban.
About 46% disagreed with that choice and 45% agreed.
Some 57% polled think the attorney general should defend every law of the state.
The most common response when asked to name the issue responsible for mass shootings: 44% chose poor policies dealing with mental illness.
