Danville, VA - Danville has a new project that encourages people to read more often. It's called the "Little Free Library."
The first one was set up Tuesday on Bridge Street near the Worsham Bridge Memorial.
You can stop by the Little Free Library box and take a book to read or donate a book. You can return if you want, but you don't have to.
"'I think it's a great idea, it's a great way to reach out to the community, somebody's going to be walking by and see, it and pick up a book they may not have read before," said Rebecca Warren.
The project was made possible by the Danville Regional Foundation Make It Happen Grant. They expect to have all 10 Little Free Library boxes set up around Danville by February.
