Nathan Norman's Connection to Boston Marathon First Responders
Rustburg, VA - For one little boy in Rustburg, a special connection to the first responders in Boston.
Nathan Norman had more than 200 Boston Police Department officers visit him back in December.
Norman is suffering from a rare form of cancer.
He says their visit left a lasting impression with him. He's maintained contact with quite a few of the officers.
He had a special wish for them after hearing what had happened during Monday's marathon.
"That all the people to be safe and all the police and fire fighters to be safe" he said.
Norman left a lasting impression on many of the Boston police officers.
His mom says a group of them has started fundraising efforts in New England for children with pediatric cancer.
