Murder, Firearm Charges Certified Against Philbrook
Campbell Co., VA - The man accused of murdering his grandparents in their Campbell County home was in court Monday afternoon.
A judge certified five charges against Robert Philbrook Monday.
The charges include two counts of second degree murder, two counts of use of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
John Philbrook, 73, and Virginia Philbrook, 72, were found shot to death in their home on Sleepy Hollow Road in February.
John Philbrook was a retired New Jersey police officer.
Robert Philbrook was later captured on a surveillance camera (picture shown), which led to his arrest.
