Moving Graves Nearly Done At Danville's Fearn Site
Danville, VA -- Crews are almost done removing graves at the former Fearn plantation site in Danville. The Director of Public Works says they plan on wrapping up their excavation efforts Thursday. He says for the most part they have not found any skeletal remains except for a small piece that may be part of a skull. They have also found buttons, small pieces of cloth and wood. Next month they plan to construct a memorial site at the edge of the property.
