Movie Theater at The River Ridge Mall Evacuated

Updated 10:30: Lynchburg Police have now made a statement after the River Ridge Mall movie theater was evacuated Tuesday night.

Police said around 8:00 p.m. they received a call from a woman who said people were going to the Regal Theater to harm her friend.

Police said they evacuated the theater as a precaution. They determined no one else in the mall was as risk so they did not close down the rest of the facility.
