      Moped Driver Dies After Accident in Lynchburg

      Lynchburg, VA - The driver of a moped that crashed on Langhorne Road Monday afternoon, has died from his injuries.

      Lynchburg Police say 51-year-old Lewis Crews passed away around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. At around 5:30 p.m. Monday, police say Crews ran into the back of a Jeep that had stopped for a car that was turning left near Tate Springs Road.

      Langhorne Road was closed while police cleared the scene.
