Monday Night Full Court Press Action

Lynchburg - The Heritage and E.C. Glass boys, along with the L.C.A. girls, were among the winners Monday night in Full Court Press action.

William McCoy and Malik Tyree each scored 17 points, Quinten Trent and Justen Joyner added 13 apiece as Heritage won at Jefferson Forest 77-64. Heritage improves to 9-and-3 overall, 3-and-0 in the Seminole District heading into Thursday night's showdown with crosstown rival E.C. Glass.

Glass improved to 4-and-0 in the Seminole, 8-and-6 overall with a 74-35 romp over Amherst County. Akeem Jones led the Hilltoppers with 19 points, Karl Overstreet added 18. Glass broke out to a big lead early in the game, building a 36-13 margin at the half.

The L.C.A. girls rolled to an 83-9 victory over North Cross. The Bulldogs have a rematch with Franklin County Tuesday night. The Eagles beat L.C.A. earlier this season in Rocky Mount, Tuesday night's game will be at L.C.A.
