High school district tournaments began across the region Monday night. Results reported to ABC 13 Sports are listed below.Seminole District Baseball Tournament:Brookville 6, Liberty 1 - Ben Coulter throws 3-hitter for the Bees, striking out 8. Coulter also had two hits at the plate for Brookville, Brett Yates led the Bees hitting attack with two hits, both doubles and three rbi's, also two stolen bases. Brookville advances to face Jefferson Forest in Tuesday's second semifinal at Amherst County. SEE VIDEO PLAYER FOR HIGHLIGHTSJefferson Forest 2, E.C. Glass 1 - JF broke a 1-all tie with Tyler Lucy's game-winning rbi in the seventh inning. Lucy threw a 5-hit complete game, Hunter Campbell went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and two runs scored for the Cavaliers.Rustburg 4, Heritage 3 - Rustburg rallied from a 3-1 deficit in its final at-bat with three runs in the seventh to beat Heritage 4-3. Carson Stanley had the game-winning 2-run single for the Red Devils. Drew Calohan went the distance for Rustburg on the mound, striking out 9, he also had a double at the plate. The Red Devils improve to 13-and-6 on the season with the win and will face top-seed Amherst County in Tuesday's first semifinal at 5 p.m. at Amherst. Seminole District Softball Tournament:Jefferson Forest 11, Heritage 1 - Jeanine Minnick led JF's hitting attack, going 3-for-3 at the plate. Altavista improves to 4-7-and-1 on the season. Girls Lacrosse:Rockbridge Co. 15, E.C. Glass 10 (regular season match) - Isabel Caprise led E.C. Glass scoring with four goals and two assist. Haley Roeser had 20 saves for the Hilltoppers. Same two teams meet in postseason play Wednesday at Rockbridge County.
