Meth, Cocaine, Marijuana Found in Henry Co. Home

Henry Co., VA - On Wednesday, the Henry County Sheriff's Office searched a home for drugs in Bassett, Virginia.{} The search turned up about three pounds of methamphetamine, a pound and a half of cocaine, five pounds of marijuana, $16,710.57 in United States currency, ammunition and a firearm.{} According to the Sheriff's Office, the street value of the drugs seized is around $62,500.00.{} IThe seized items will be sent to the Department of Forensic Science Laboratory for the Western District of Virginia for analysis.{} Following the analysis of the evidence, indictments will be issued.Anyone having information pertaining to narcotic trafficking operations is asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff's Office at (276) 638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463).{} The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $1000.00 for information related to crime.{} The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
