Mental Evaluation Ordered for Man Accused of Shooting Trooper in Dinwiddie Co.
Dinwiddie Co., VA - The man state police say shot Master Trooper Junius Walker last month has been ordered to undergo a mental evaluation.
A judge ordered the evaluation to determine whether 28-year-old Russell Brown III was sane at the time of the shooting on March 14.
Walker was shot and killed on I-85 after making a traffic stop.
Court documents show Brown told police that God made him do it.
Brown is facing multiple charges, including capital murder.
