Roanoke, VA - The Fourth Annual Morgan Harrington Memorial Golf Tournament teed off in Roanoke Friday afternoon marking the most successful tournament to date.
In all 27 foursomes signed up for the event - beating earlier years by 36 people.
The previous three years combined to raise 30-thousand dollars... which helped build this school in Zambia.
This year's money will help to add a library.
"Just being able to put something positive towards something that's awful that's happened has been absolutely amazing. It has helped me cope with the tragedy in ways I could have never imagined," said tournament organizer Erin Cole.
Both facilities are being built through Roanoke-based relief organization, Orphan Miracle Network International.
Morgan Harrington, a Virginia Tech student, was found murdered several months after disappearing in Charlottesville in 2010.
No arrests have been made in her death.
