Danville, VA - Ken Cuccinelli's presumed democratic challenger, Terry McAuliffe, made a stop on the Southside Tuesday.
McAuliffe spoke with supporters at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville.McAuliffe talked about how he started a business at just 14-years-old, and how he wants to make sure every kid can have the same opportunities. He also talked about the importance of transportation and job creation. McAuliffe wanted voters and supporters to focus on this election and not the last one.
"Dorothy and I want to make sure our five children stay in Virginia. But in order for that to happen, we have to have jobs in the 21st century, a transportation system that works, the best education and a healthcare delivery system," said McAuliffe.
When asked about his views on uranium mining, he said at this point, he does not support lifting the ban.
