Martinsville Speedway Getting Ready For Race Weekend

Martinsville, VA - It's just a week away, and the Martinsville Speedway is in high-gear getting ready for race weekend.

They say they start to prepare for the Spring race the second the Fall race is over but they have most of their work a month before the race starts.
Right now they are checking the stands, painting the track, and making sure everything is ready for the thousands of fans.
"This is what we live for, this is what we do. Once we get to immediately prior to the event, we are all excited and pumped up and ready to get the show on the road," said Clay Campbell, President of Martinsville Speedway.
Campbell says the snow slowed them down but now they are getting back on track.
