Martinsville Gets Into the Christmas Spirit

Martinsville, VA - Martinsville is getting in the Christmas spirit. They had their annual Christmas Tree lighting -- in front of the Martinsville Municipal Building Friday night. The tree lighting was a kickoff to Martinsville's Holiday Open House.

The Sanville Elementary Children's Choir sang several Christmas carols for the crowd. The Holiday Open House events continue Saturday.

There will be Breakfast with Santa Saturday from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. You can take photos with Santa at Studio 107 on East Church Street between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Boys' and Girls' Club Stee Drum Band will be performing at Rock'N Grill Saturday at 2 p.m. Businesses will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. serving refreshments and offering holiday specials
