Roanoke, VA - The final phase of construction on Roanoke's Market Square is set to get underway.
Beginning next week, the city will begin converting two parking areas across the street from the Market Building into a more pedestrian friendly area.
The $1.1 million project will cost the city 26 parking spots overall.
The project is expected to take three months and be finished in time for the city's spring festival event schedule.
Everything is expected to wrap up in the first week of April.
