Man Wanted in Appomattox Co. Shooting Turns Himself In

Appomattox Co., VA - The man wanted for a shooting in Appomattox County earlier this year has turned himself in.

Carlton Edward Massenburg of Meherrin is charged with malicious wounding. Investigators say he shot 48-year-old James Broggin at the Carver Price Cultural Center on March 16th.

Massenburg is being held without bond at the Amherst Adult Detention Center. An advisement hearing is set for Wednesday morning in Appomattox General District Court.
