Man Wanted for Assault in Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police are looking for a man they say assaulted someone in Miller Park.

They say it happened on the afternoon June 1.

The male victim says he was walking through the park and stopped at the gazebo when a man attacked him and ran away.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries to his face and arms.

Officials describe him as a black man, 5'10" and 180 pounds. He had dreadlocks and was wearing a white and red striped shirt.
