Man in Surgery After Being Attacked by Pit Bulls
Henry Co., VA - A North Carolina man is in critical condition after he says he was attacked by pit bulls in Henry County.
The Sheriff's Office says they found James Gann, 52, of Stoneville sitting on the shoulder of Route 220 south of Ridgeway.
He says he was attacked by pit bulls on Cabin Hill Drive.
Gann was first taken to Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County and was later flown to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He is in surgery, and is listed in critical but stable condition.
Two pit bulls were taken to the Henry County Animal Shelter and are being quarantined.
No arrests have been made.
