Man Arrested for Shooting & Robbery in Henry Co., Officials Investigate

Henry Co., VA - Officials have arrested a man they say shot another man before stealing money from him in Henry County Wednesday.

Joshua Lee Hylton, 23, of Martinsville was arrested and charged with robbery, malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Police say the victim, Chance Brandon Combs, 28, said he was walking with two other people when one of them hit him. Combs tried to fight and he was shot in the left side of his chest and his left thigh. Combs fell to the ground and the man took $240 from his pocket.

Combs was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released from Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.

Officials are still looking for the second man involved in this incident.
