UPDATE: Man Arrested in Pennsylvania for Danville Murders

Danville, VA - Danville Police have confirmed the reports from Pennsylvania about a man being arrested for a 2008 double homicide.
Police say officers in Olyphant, Pennsylvania arrested Arthur Carter Monday at his apartment.
Carter is facing seven charges in Danville, including two counts of capital murder.
According to Danville Police, they had been in contact with the Olyphant Chief of Police in the weeks leading up to Monday's arrest.
Investigators say Carter shot two men in February 2008. Police found the two men in a wrecked car on Jenny Lane.
One man died at the scene, the other passed away from his injuries at the hospital.
Olyphant, PA - Local media outlets are reporting that a man wanted for a 2008 murder in Danville has been arrested in Pennsylvania.
The Times-Tribune out of Scranton is reporting that 37-year-old Arthur Carter was arrested Monday at his apartment in Olyphant, PA. Carter is wanted in Danville in connection with the murders of Tony Howerton and Charles Harris, who were killed during a robbery on February 4, 2008.
He faces two counts of capital murder and separate charges for the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. No word yet on when he will be extradited to Virginia.
