Man Arrested at Lynchburg Target Store Sunday

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police are releasing details about an incident at Target that turned some heads Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to the store about 4:30 p.m. for a shoplifting report.

The suspect was still inside the store, in the electronics section.

Police say they approached Michael Alan St. John, 48, and he had a knife out, opening up some electronics.

According to police, St. John had a gun in his pocket and he did not have a permit for it.

St. John is facing multiple charges, including possession of narcotics and marijuana.
