Man Accused of Killing 3-year-old In Danville Pleads Guilty

Danville, VA -- The man accused of killing a three year old girl in Danville has pleaded guilty.

Monday, Shonta Barnhill-Sherrod appeared in circuit court today to plead guilty to felony murder as well as child abuse and neglect with serious injury charges. A first degree murder charge was dismissed.

In April an autopsy showed Teliajah Brown died from blunt force trauma. Brown's mother told ABC 13 Barnhill-Sherrod was her boyfriend. The sentencing is set for January.
