Macon Eliminates H-Sydney to Reach ODAC Finals

LYNCHBURG - Two teams staying in the same hotel, on the same floor will play in Sunday's ODAC Baseball Tournament championship game.

Randolph-Macon scored two runs in the top of the 9th and hung on to beat Hampden-Sydney 2-1 Saturday night. Macon advances to face top seeded Bridgewater. The Eagles are undefeated so far in the tournament so Macon will have to be beat them twice.

The ODAC is trying to beat the expected rain so they pushed up the start time to 11 a.m. If they cannot play Sunday they will reschedule the game for Monday in Salem. However, more rain is expected Monday.
