Lynchburg, VA - Hundreds of seniors in our area have gifts under their tree this holiday season, all thanks to so many of you who donated to Home Instead's "Be a Santa to a Senior" program.
And a big thanks to the volunteers who not only deliver the gifts... but make sure each senior knows someone is thinking of them during this often tough time of year.
The Ohler family has been delivering gifts for the program for four years.
"Just the joy on the older people's faces. They are truly grateful and appreciative for someone to stop by and say 'Merry Christmas'" Mother Candice Ohler said.
Loretta Granger was so excited to open her gifts.
"I'm going to Wal Mart!!!" Granger said laughing.
Tune in for Loretta's story Thursday on Good Morning Virginia!
