Lynchburg - NCAA men's lacrosse, Lynchburg wasted no time taking control against Sewanee en route to a 25-4 victory. The Hornets began the game scoring nine goals in less than nine minutes, LC led 10-0 after the first quarter. The Hornets stretched the margin to 18-3 at the half, 21-3 after three quarters. Lynchburg connected on nearly 50 percent of its shots for the game. Junior Todd Galvin led LC with six goals and three assists, Austin Stewart added five goals, Campbell Armstrong four. Lynchburg advances to second-round action Saturday afternoon at Washington College in Maryland. I feel like you can never be playing your best lacrosse, there's always room for improvement. But you know we're improving every day and you know our best lacrosse is in front of us right now."
