Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg is really starting to feel festive. Tuesday, Public Works installed and cabled the 5th Street Roundabout Christmas tree downtown. It stands 20 feet tall and was paid for in part by the Elks Lodge of Lynchburg. The city says the evergreen came from the same farm that provided the tree for the Governor's mansion in Richmond. 5th Street Community Development Organization is behind the idea. They plan to hold a lighting ceremony sometime during First Fridays.
