Lynchburg, VA- Dozens of kids came out to the Lynchburg Public Library Tuesday for a special presentation from The Nature Zone with Lynchburg Parks and Recreation.
It was a part of the library's Paws to Read summer reading program. It's all about animals and the library offered story times and presentations all summer.
The Nature Zone showed the kids animal skins and skulls and they even brought their opossum, Pickles, along.
The library says the summer reading goal was for kids to read 15 books or 300 minutes this summer.
The summer reading finale will be Friday afternoon at the library. There will be tons of activities for kids including a ventriloquist, face painting, Balloon Dude Travis, and an appearance from the Hillcats Southpaw.
