Lynchburg Police Seek Grocery Store Theft Suspects

Lynchburg, VA - Police in Lynchburg are looking for suspects wanted for theft via sleight of hand at two area Kroger stores.

Last week, employees of the Kroger stores on Boonsboro Road and Wards Road reported that money had been stolen from their stores.

According to store employees, two women and two men who appeared to be Hispanic entered the store.{} The two women would purchase a small item and as they paid the cashier, they would tell the cashier that they did not know much about American currency.The two women would then reach into the register, pull out some money and ask for help and information about the different denominations.As the cashier spoke with them and retrieved the money, the two woman concealed and stole some of the bills, according to police.
