Lynchburg Police Seek Check Theft Suspect

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police are searching for a woman who may have fraudulently cashed a check.Old Dominion Wood Products reported to the Lynchburg Police Department in late May that a check they mailed to a vendor was stolen, altered, and cashed by someone.The check was cashed at the Bank of the James on Main Street in early May.The suspect used a fictitious address in West Columbia, South Carolina.{} The female suspect was caught on the bank's surveillance system.{} Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Det.
