Lynchburg, VA - The Lynchburg Humane Society has received a big grant to help spay and neuter stray animals.
The ASPCA has given money to offer free or reduced-fee surgeries for low-income residents.
The grant is targeted areas that need it most, including Campbell County where many unwanted litters are coming from.
The Humane Society says spay and neuter is a top priority for them because it helps reduce euthanasia rates.
