Lynchburg, VA - After a nice long winter break, you may have had a tough morning getting everyone out the door and back to school after winter break.
The education experts at Successful Innovations in Lynchburg have a few ideas to get back on track.
- Set small, attainable goals for the start of the second half of the school year with rewards.
- Get organized from morning to after school.
- Talk to your kids about what you expect.
"I think parents need to kind of review and reinforce the school rules as well as home rules for when school starts up again. Just to kind of remind them of the expectations and what they are to do as they get ready for school," said Stefanie Prokity from Successful Innovations.
That includes sticking to bedtimes and schedules.
- Finally, stay informed with your child's school as to what's going on second semester.
