Bullying Forum for Elementary Students in Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA - One Lynchburg school is fighting back against bullying. Wednesday, Paul Monroe Elementary students heard from children's entertainer Earl Long about bullying.

His program is called "Band Together: No Bullies Allowed." The B in "band" stands for, "Be a buddy." The A, "Avoid the situation." The N - "Nobody deserves to be bullied." The D - "Don't join in."

He uses magic to drive the message home. It is something he says he is very passionate about.

"If we can stop this bullying, this ugliness that's going on in schools, then we can help these kids to be able to grow and nurture in a right proper way," said Earl Long, a child educational entertainer.

Long is speaking to two more Lynchburg schools in the coming days.
