Lynchburg Dealership Donates Car to Safe Surfin' Foundation

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Nissan donated the use of a new Murano to the Safe Surfin' Foundation Tuesday

The car will be used to travel all over Virginia and neighboring states to give presentations to parents and children about how to stay safe online and avoid becoming the victim of an online predator.

The donation is already getting attention.

"A couple of days ago somebody came and said what it this? And we told them. And they were from Lynchburg and said area and said oh, I do. I know what you're talking about," said Sheriff Mike Brown.

"I have two children. One is 13. One is nine, and they're starting to surf the web and do things like that. When the Sheriff came and talked to us about this program, it was a no brainer for Chris and myself to get involved in this," said C.J. Franzelas, Vice President of Mabry Automotive Group.

The foundation will use this car for the next year.
