Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg couple is recovering after spending four days lost in a remote part of northwestern Wyoming.
Officials in the area say rescuers found Frank Rose and Madalina Taylor Wednesday night. They were at the bank of a creek and had lit an emergency flare.
Rose and Taylor told officials after hiking for four days, they were too exhausted to cross the fast-moving creek so they had stopped.
Officials say the couple went for a hike and didn't bring food, water or camping gear but did have some emergency supplies.
The two were rescued just after a large grizzly bear was spotted nearby.
