Lynchburg Boil Water Advisory Lifted
Lynchburg, VA- The City of Lynchburg Department of Water Resources customers whose areas were affected by a major water main break on September 27, 2012 no longer need to boil their water. The break affected a wide area of the City and included over 120 streets. The break has been repaired and the drinking water has been tested and determined to be safe to drink. Therefore, the Department of Water Resources is rescinding the Boil Water Advisory and customers no longer need to boil water.
